If the need for treatment or procedure arises, you will be the one that takes action, which may involve coordinating with other health care providers, coordinating treatment, or documenting the outcomes of the treatment.

When you take the Business of Health Medical Care exam, you will answer multiple-choice questions regarding your specific areas of responsibility. For example, you will need to describe your role as a Quality Control Officer. This position usually reports to the Chief Medical Officer. The Health Care Administration (HCA) is the entity that regulates health care in your state. According to the HCA, the Quality Officer serves as a guide to the department in regards to ensuring quality standards. Other areas of responsibility include approving policies and procedures and developing policies and procedures.

After taking this test, you will be asked to write a summary of your findings on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
